Who group buying is for
Add a brand without meeting its entire minimum alone.
For beauty shops, online sellers and retailers building an assortment from a participating brand, group buying lets several business buyers work toward the same brand minimum. It remains wholesale: each buyer must meet product, variant and quantity-increment requirements.
Participation depends on the brand and buying option offered by Cosmain. Wholesale account approval and applicable buying terms still apply. Group buys are separate from ordinary one-brand wholesale orders and do not turn all catalog brands into a mixed-brand order.
- Brand MOA is shared
- MOA is the minimum merchandise value required for the participating brand. Once collection opens, eligible selections with accepted deposits contribute their qualifying merchandise value—not just the deposit amount.
- Product MOQ stays individual
- MOQ is the minimum quantity for a product or variant. Another buyer’s quantity cannot make an under-minimum product line in your own selection eligible.
- Supply is reviewed before proceeding
- Reaching the shared minimum is not a stock guarantee or an automatic supplier purchase. Cosmain reviews current availability, prices and the participating buyers before requesting balances.

Confirm your selection and pay the 30% deposit
When checkout is available, review the terms and payment instructions. Your selection qualifies toward the brand minimum only after the required deposit is accepted.
Wait for the minimum and supply review
Cosmain checks that the eligible selections meet the brand minimum and confirms which products and quantities can proceed.
Pay your balance before supplier purchasing
Cosmain opens an individual balance for each included buyer and credits the accepted deposit. Fully paid selections are reviewed together before the supplier order is placed. Shipping is calculated separately.

- Can I place a group-buy order today?
- You can save a draft basket with an approved wholesale account. Checkout and deposit payments are not open yet; saving a basket is not a paid commitment.
- Can I combine different brands to meet one minimum?
- No. Each participating brand has its own group and minimum. Your selections and orders remain separate for each brand.
- Does group buying remove product minimum quantities?
- No. Each buyer must meet every product’s MOQ and quantity increments. Only the brand minimum order amount is shared.
- What happens if the minimum is not met or supply cannot proceed?
- Once paid participation opens, an unmet minimum or unavailable supply is handled through deadline review and refund resolution. Any extension requires agreement; funds are not automatically carried into another purchase.
- Are shipping and delivery dates included in the shared minimum?
- The shared minimum concerns merchandise, not international shipping. Shipping is calculated separately. A saved selection or a reached minimum does not guarantee a dispatch date.
