What changes from one AGE-R device to another?
The Medicube AGE-R range includes the original Booster Pro, the newer Booster Pro X2 and the compact Mini Booster Pro Plus. The differences go beyond size: each offers a different combination of modes, app features and accessories.

Booster Pro: four main modes
The original Booster Pro has Booster, Air Shot, MC and Derma Shot modes. These cover glow, the appearance of pores and texture, and a more defined-looking complexion. LED light and sonic vibration bring the feature count to the “6-in-1” description used for the device.
Air Shot has a different place in the routine from the other modes: it is used on clean, dry skin before skincare. Booster, MC and Derma Shot are used with skincare. The AGE-R app also offers controls, routine tracking and guided videos.
Booster Pro X2: more modes and app controls
X2 keeps the four original mode names and adds Dual Mode and Mask Mode. It has six intensity levels. A further AI Mode is available through the AGE-R app, where Dual Mode can also be customized.
Mask Mode is used with essence-rich sheet masks. Medicube recommends these rather than gel masks.

Mini Booster Pro Plus: compact, with optional heads
Mini Plus has three LED modes and five intensity levels. It is the compact option in this comparison, with cleansing and facial-roller sets available alongside the device on its own.
The accessory sets use a Facial Cleansing Head or Facial V Roller with Mini Plus. That gives the range a different emphasis from the four-mode original Pro and the expanded X2.
| Device | Main distinction |
|---|---|
| Booster Pro | Four main modes, with LED light and sonic vibration |
| Booster Pro X2 | Dual and Mask modes, six intensity levels and app-only AI Mode |
| Mini Booster Pro Plus | Three LED modes, compact format and optional accessory heads |

Charging and set contents
In Medicube’s US packages, the original Booster Pro includes a USB charging cable and manual. Mini Booster Pro Plus includes a manual, but no cable or charger. Mini Plus charges by USB-C, with a specified DC 5V input and a maximum of 2A.
The Medicube AGE-R collection brings the device range together. For skincare, the Jelly Cream and PDRN Cream comparison explains two of the brand’s moisturizer textures.
